At 10 months old, Liomar was one of the most charismatic and brave patients we’ve met. His energy is contagious even as he recovers from surgery, where our team of surgeons performed a repair of his atrioventricular septal defect. 

Liomar celebrated his first birthday as a healthier baby boy with a bright future ahead. Liomar now has even more energy than he did before and with the same thousand-watt smile.

It is thanks to our DOCF donors that our Foundation is able to protect the iron will and persevering laughter of these children. Thanks to you, Liomar and other children like him are able to walk off the pitch as MVPs, and you as their greatest cheerleaders. We hope  that with your help, we may continue to help many more children like Liomar in the future!
